looking at this bird i would take it for a normal sky blue not a normal cobalt

Hi Bert, looking at the turquoise in the tail feathers it certainly suggests maybe violet skyblue.

@bradbird12: It's the picture, taken with flash and it made it lighter then it actually is.

@nickex65: Could be, I didn't check the tail feathers but it looks darker in real life than the sky violet I had before.

@filip: Nope this one is from Jan Marynissen. It was just the bird I preferred the most as addition to my shed. Got two outcrosses from William last year and both did very well, working with those and the offspring into a new line.
